We are so excited and proud to share that four of our books are finalists for the 2020 Governor General's Literary Awards! Guarded Girls by Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman, Quick Bright Things by Christopher Cook, and Sound of the Beast by Donna-Michelle St. Bernard are finalists in the Drama category, while Alexis Diamond's translation of Pascal Brullemans's Amaryllis & Little Witch is a finalist in Translation.

The Governor General's Literary Awards are administered by the Canada Council for the Arts, honouring excellence in Canadian literature. Winners receive $25,000. In 2019, Other Side of the Game by Amanda Parris took home the Drama award and Linda Gaboriau's translation of Wajdi Mouawad's Birds of a Kind took home the Translation award.

For the month of May, enjoy this year's finalists at 25% off, only on our website!

Winners will be revealed on June 1. Visit ggbooks.ca for more details. Share your excitement and congratulations with #ggbooks!
