Marcus Youssef’s fifteen or so plays include Winners and Losers, King Arthur’s Night, A Line in the Sand, Ali and Ali and the aXes of Evil, Adrift, and Jabber. They have been performed across North America, Europe, and Asia, from Seattle to New York to London, Reykjavik, Hong Kong, and Berlin. Marcus is the recipient of the Siminovitch Prize in Theatre, the Vancouver Mayor’s Arts Award, the Rio Tinto Alcan Performing Arts Award, the Floyd S. Chalmers Canadian Play Award, the Seattle Times Footlight Award, the Vancouver Critics’ Choice Award (three times), and the Canada Council Staunch-Lynton Award.
