Angela Rebeiro is a passionate advocate ofCanadian writers, through numerous leadership rolesin the publishing and literary world, notably as head ofPlaywrights Canada Press for sixteen years, and as an activevolunteer for a variety of arts organizations.A tireless arts and theatre worker and championthroughout her career, Angela’s awards include the JaniceHandford Award, the Maggie Bassett Award for hercontribution to theatre in Ontario, the Sandra TullochAward for Innovation in the Arts, and she has recentlybeen appointed a Member of the Order of Canada.
