Congratulations to Sharon Pollock for winning the 2009 Gwen Pharis Ringwood Award for Drama at the Alberta Literary Awards. Sharon Pollock was awarded the prize at a gala in Calgray on May 23 for her play Kabloona Talk, which is included in the collection Sharon Pollock: Collected Works Volume Three.

Playwrights Canada Press (PLCN) is Canada's largest and oldest exclusive publisher of drama titles. Formerly an imprint of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, it was separately incorporated in 2001.
