Blacks Don't Bowl

Vadney S. Haynes

Born in St. Michael, Barbados in 1951, Vadney S. Haynes has lived in Montreal for more than 50 years. He divides his time between teaching Psychology at Champlain Regional College and his private Psychotherapy practice. Academic interests saw him pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Science at Concordia University, a Masters degree in Educational Psychology and Counselling at McGill University and Doctoral studies in Psychology at the Université de Montréal.

At various times Vadney S. Haynes has been a producer, broadcaster and music programmer for radio stations in Montreal, and he had a brief stint as a freelance music critic for the Montreal Gazette. His passion for music is matched by his love for film and CFL football. Blacks Don’t Bowl is his first produced play.
