Richard Greenblatt
Richard Greenblatt (born in
Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian playwright who currently lives in Toronto.
Greenblatt attended Dawson College. He later trained at the Royal Academy
of Dramatic Art in London. In 1975 he returned to Canada and began his
theatrical career. Since then he
has been acting, directing, writing and composing music for theatre,
radio, television and film across the country and abroad.
He is best known for 2 Pianos,
4 Hands, which he wrote and performed with Ted Dykstra. It won both
the Dora Mavor Moore Award and the Chalmers Award.
