Glen Cairns
An actor, director and playwright,
Glen is an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto, and holds
a Master’s degree in theatre from the University of British Columbia.
An eclectic artist with a wide array of tastes, his other plays are
the one-act, Dada-inspired Benny and the Furies, a full length
musical, The Crimson Veil, which he co-wrote with Allen Cole,
and a full-length “blues riff for actors” King of the Road.
His short film “Sparky’s Shoes” produced by the Canadian Film
Centre, has played at film festivals around the world. He was the first
Artistic Director of the Neptune Theatre’s Second Stage, Halifax,
and is a former Artistic Director of 25th Street Theatre,
Saskatoon. Glen lives in Toronto.
