George Boyd
George Boyd, one of a family
of nine, was born and raised in the north end of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
This award-winning playwright and former co-host of the CBC “Morning
News” has had his plays produced to audience acclaim. Other plays
include Shine Boy, Gideon’s Blues, and Consecrated
Ground for which Boyd was nominated for a Governor General’s Literary
Award. He currently resides and works in Montreal.
