Arthur Milner
Arthur Milner lives in Val-des-Monts,
Québec. He is a playwright and theatre director, and a former artistic
director of Ottawa’s Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC). His published
plays include Learning to Live with Personal Growth, Masada,
Zero Hour (all premiered at GCTC); Crusader of the World
(Green Thumb Theatre, Vancouver); The City, (Workshop West, Edmonton)
and It’s Not a Country, It’s Winter (CBC Radio Drama).
Facts, a murder mystery set in the occupied West Bank, was first
produced by Winnipeg’s Who Knows Productions and will be presented
in early 2009 by the New Theatre of Ottawa. He has translated several
short plays and documentaries, and is on the editorial board of Inroads,
The Canadian Journal of Opinion.
